Montessor 'Pick&Scoop' Wooden Set
This set has been specifically designed to support your child's hand-eye coordination and concentration. It contains of two sized tongs and two sized spoons for picking, scooping and transfering to a deep bowl, shallow bowl, and our best selling Three Section Tray. The two different sizes of tongs means children must adapt tone in their hands in order to pick an object with them. Use of tongs and tweezers gives a perfect opportunity to practice those small hand movement needed to hold a pen in preparation for learning to write.
This is very much an open-ended set, which means there is no right or wrong way to use it. This set also supports toddler's play schemas such as enclosing, positioning and transporting, if your child loves to position toys in line, put small objects into things or transport toys from place to place.
